Winter is coming. Help LIG Global and CTEN warm up some lives, this holiday season. As 2020 comes to a close, The LIG Global Foundation is seeking support as we shift our focus to work with Commission to Every Nation (CTEN) in Mexico.
Your donations will go towards providing much needed warmth and safety to these underserved communities. We are collecting a variety of new and gently used warm fabrics, winter accessories, and monetary donations to ensure that these families in Mexico have all they need to stay warm and healthy this winter season. Monetary donations will be used to purchase the necessary items below while all donated items will be shipped directly to our partners at CTEN.

Your generous donation will make a direct and immediate impact on the lives of families in Mexico.
The Need It's easy to take for granted the little things that make our lives comfortable during the long, cold winter months. For families around the world - and those in Mexico - the cold weather can be particularly cruel. It is not uncommon for homes in Mexico to lack insulation, heating, or even windows. Every year, children die from preventable diseases, like pneumonia as a result of below freezing temperatures and humble living conditions.
Partnered with CTEN, we’re calling on our generous donors to assist us as we help tackle this upcoming winter. While Mexico is known as a popular travel destination during warm months, temperatures drop significantly during the winter mornings and evenings. Locals are left no option but to brave the cold weather in ill equipped homes, oftentimes lacking electricity, heat, or even windows. Building materials for homes can vary from tarps to garage doors and are generally not insulated or waterproof.
A reliable source of heat is rare for these families. Many homes lack running water, let alone a dedicated water heater. Cold nights and temperatures often result in illnesses and every year, infants and children die from pneumonia in these regions. While we have access to reliable and quick healthcare when we are ill, many families in Mexico are unable to do so. There are often physical and financial obstacles to receiving critical and quality care. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the medical volunteers that traveled to these remote locations have not been able to do so leaving these folks at an even greater risk of serious illness.
Despite the pandemic, LIG Global alongside CTEN are still determined to provide comfort, hope, supplies, and a positive quality of life to our brothers and sisters in Mexico. We are proud to work with CTEN in their mission to keep these families safe and help provide a warm winter for families in need.

Located just south of Ensenada, Maneadero is one of the small towns we serve in Mexico. Maneadero is known for its agriculture and livestock.
Popular among tourists during the warm months, the Baja California region is part of the Mexican Riviera. It is populated year round by migrant workers who toil in the many fields located in Maneadero.
Many of the roads in the town and surrounding neighborhoods are unpaved and kick up dirt and dust onto the many townspeople who do not have access to their own vehicle.
January is the coldest month for this region, with temperatures plunging almost 40 degrees cooler than average high temperatures.
LIG is proud to serve Maneadero and provide hope and comfort to families across a large portion of the state of Baja California Norte.
