Claudine Sylvester, MD, FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist in private practice in Northern New Jersey. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology from The George Washington University. She then received her Doctor of Medicine degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her residency training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
In residency, Dr. Sylvester served as a Junior Fellow Chairman for the New Jersey section of the Junior Fellows of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She currently is an active Fellow of ACOG.
Dr. Sylvester is a cofounding partner of Women First Health Center a division of Regional Women’s Health Group which is one of the largest OB/GYN practices in the state of New Jersey. She is a Full-time Attending Physician on the medical staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Beginning 2010, Dr. Sylvester began serving as the Clinical Chief of the Department of OB/GYN at St. Barnabas Medical Center. She sits on the Medical Staff Committee, the Departmental Advisory Committee, and the Perinatal Review Committee. She is the Chairman of the Risk Management and Protocol Committee of PHCA in Northern N.J.
Dr. Sylvester is the current Clinical Clerkship Director of Medical Students for the OB/GYN Department at Saint Barnabas. As such, she is an Associate Clinical Professor for the St. George’s University School of Medicine as well as for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has been dedicated to teaching medical students and residents for over fifteen years. She has received numerous teaching awards as well as the APGO/CREOG award for teaching.
In 2011, Dr. Sylvester received the Patient Choice Award. In 2012, she was named a Top Doctor in America as well as one of the World’s Leading Obstetrician/Gynecologists. It was also in 2011 when Dr. Sylvester became involved with LIG Global Foundation, Inc. which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing medical and non-medial volunteers to underserved populations throughout the world.
Dr. Sylvester is a proud mother of three children. She currently resides in New Jersey. She is an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with her entire family as well as her friends. She also enjoys running, biking, and swimming, and numerous arts & crafts.

Doctor Cristina Garcia Pamaar is a board certified Anesthesiologist practicing at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Pamaar migrated from the Philippines after she finished both her Nursing and Medical Degrees. She underwent training at the Department of Anesthesiology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center after which she joined the private practice.
Although Dr. Pamaar is dedicated to her practice of Anesthesia, she finds joy in her endeavors outside the medical center.
She is the mother of Sanjay who just graduated from high school and will be pursuing a college degree in Music. Dr. Pamaar has been involved in multiple charitable organizations. She and her family and friends have been actively pursuing fundraising activities to support retired, sick and dying nuns in Manila, Philippines; Project Share-a-Book which collects and distributes books to elementary and high schools in underprivileged areas in the Philippines and other countries that need them.
Lately, Dr. Pamaar and her 2 sisters, Nancy Gourishankar and Marilou Villareal founded Marian Rose World Mission, an organization that focuses on medical and educational assistance to peoples who are underprivileged and abused in the hope that they will eventually be able to take care of themselves financially, physically and emotionally and blossom into whole human beings.
Dr. Keegan is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist with sub-specialty certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Keegan received her bachelors degree from Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. She then earned a Master of Science in Biology from the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science where she studied the effects of maternal nutrition on pregnancy. She received her medical degree from the School of Medicine at New York University in New York City. She completed her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bellevue Hospital / NYU Medical Centers. Dr. Keegan joined LIG as the Director of Development in 2014 after completing her first mission to the Philippines.
Dr. Keegan is a full-time physician with the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas (sbivf.com) with offices in Livingston, Clark and East Windsor, NJ. She serves as Director of Ovum Donation and maintains a very busy practice while also teaching residents and students. She was recently appointed to the Project 800 Task Force by the CEO of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation for Humanism and Medicine (humanism-in-medicine.org).
Dr. Keegan is a former CREST scholar and serves as the Medical Director to the organization B.U.M.P.S, Inc. (yourbump.org), which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Florida licensed, federally tax-exempt charitable organization. B.U.M.P.S assists couples who face difficulty conceiving by issuing grants for fertility related medical treatments. She has received numerous teaching and research awards during her career. Dr. Keegan also participates in community sex education of middle school students though the organization “Let’s Talk” which she co-founded with University of Michigan student, Maddy Lehman.
Dr. Keegan came to LIG through her affiliation with Saint Barnabas and Dr. Sadural in the Department of OB/Gyn there. “I approached Dr. Sadural in 2013 and expressed my interest in accompanying his team on a mission. When he asked me to go to the Philippines, it was like a dream came true. I had intended to visit the Philippines many years ago with my grandfather who was born and raised there. Unfortunately, he passed away before we could make that trip. My mission with LIG in 2014 changed my life and revitalized the humanistic part of being a physician.” Since then, Dr. Keegan has been an active member of LIG and agreed to serve as Director of Development.
Dr. Keegan has three young children and lives in the Princeton area of New Jersey. She enjoys traveling, cooking, music (especially singing and percussion), running, exercising at The Bar Method, and promoting overall wellness in her family, friends and patients through exercise and good nutrition.
Olya Gorenyuk is a board certified anesthesiologist practicing in northern Illinois. She received her bachelors degree in economics and chemistry from Lake Forest College. She completed her medical degree at Northwestern University and stayed there for her anesthesiology residency.
Dr. Gorenyukis a full-time anesthesiologist with Midwest Anesthesia Partners; a busy private practice anesthesia group in northern Illinois. The group serves two large hospitals, an endoscopy center and a free-standingsurgicenter. Her practice includes general, cardiac, regional, obstetric and pediatric anesthesia.
Olya Gorenyuk has always had an interest in medical volunteerism. After joining Midwest Anesthesia Partners, Dr. Gorenyuk befriended Dr. Thunga (Life is Great’s Chief Operating Officer). She was interested in joining LIG on a mission and completed her first medical mission in February 2014 to Philippines. “This experience completely transformed my life. When I returned home, I wanted to help LIG grow and succeed in any small way that I could.” Since then, she has been busy helping LIG grow its Midwestern roots.
Doctor Gorenyuk is married and has a 3 year old son. Her husband and her are avid travellers. Doctor Gorenyuk’s husband has also fallen in love with the passion and spirit of LIG and its members and has been an active member of LIG. He is looking forward to going on medical missions in the future.
Pranay Vaidya MD, is a long time resident of Oradell, NJ. He is currently the Chief of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory of the Heart and Vascular Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center, the Interim Chief Patient Safety and Performance Improvement Officer at Hackensack UMC, as well as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Medicine and Dentistry Nl Medical School. He is the former President of the Medical staff and presently the Chairman of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr.Vaidya is board certied in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology and has been certiﬁed in Nuclear Medicine.
During the course of his career at Hackensack University Medical Center, Dr. Vaidya has been instrumental in the development of new techniques and technologies in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory including being one of the pioneers in bringing Coronary Angioplasty, Coronary Stenting, Coronary Atherectomy, Peripheral Angiography/Angioplasty/Stenting to Hackensack University Medical Center. Consistent with his forward looking philosophy, he remains motivated to help the medical center transition into the future as evidenced by his involvement in developing the TAVR program and the radial access program.
Dr. Vaidya has a spectrum of intellectual pursuits that span the training of cardiology fellows to participating in numerous research studies including stem cell therapy for acute myocardial infarction patients.
Born in India, Dr. Vaidya graduated from B.J. Medical College. He completed residencies at BJ. Medical College Hospital and Hackensack University Medical Center where he also completed his cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Vaidya is a member of multiple societies including the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He helped develop The New Jersey Interventional Society and was elected to a term as president. He has spent the last twenty ﬁve year as an active member of the American Association of Physicians from India (AAPI) in which he also held the title as president of the federation of AAPI in the Tri-State area. He has been involved in numerous charitable organizations. Dr.Vaidya has been published and has presented at the 1995 scientiﬁc session the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Vaidya’s past awards include Outstanding Attending Physician in Internal Medicine and Outstanding Attending in Cardiology.
Dr. Vaidya is happily married and has two daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Dr. Thunga completed his undergraduate, medical school and residency training at Northwestern University and the affiliated medical school. He completed a one-year fellowship in Pain Management at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Thunga started practice in 1997 in northern Illinois in the fields of both anesthesia and pain management. After 10 years, he gave up the practice of pain medicine and concentrated solely on providing anesthesia in two large medical centers (Advocate Condell in Libertyville, and Vista Health in Waukegan), along with a free-standing surgicenter, and an endoscopy suite.
He is currently the President and managing partner of a large private anesthesia group consisting of 19 anesthesiologists and 14 nurse anesthetists. His practice consists not only of general anesthesia care for community-based surgeries, but also level 1 trauma care, open heart anesthesia, “bread-and-butter” pediatric cases, a busy regional anesthesia service, and anesthesia for an GI endoscopy suite.
His hospital administrative positions have included Chief of Anesthesia Department, and Past Treasurer, Vice-President and in-coming Chief of the Medical Staff. In the local and national medical community, he has served as pPesident of the Lake County Medical Society, and has held delegate positions for the Illinois State Medical Society, Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
In the community, Dr. Thunga was a founding board member of the Oak Grove School Education Foundation (www.ogsef.org), which is a non-for-profit alternative funding source for the local school district. He also serves on the board of the SwyamKrishiSangam Foundation (www.sksfoundation.org), an NGO determined to eradicate poverty in India.
Dr. Thunga is happily married and has three children ages 19, 16 and 14.
Dr. Thunga’s main current passion is in the field of medical mission work and global health. The LIG Global Foundation has been the perfect avenue for him to pursue that passion.
Dr. Sarah Timmapuri is a board-certified cardiologist in private practice in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Timmapuri was accepted directly from high school into the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University. This was an accelerated combined degree program through which she completed both her undergraduate studies and medical school studies in six years. Dr. Timmapuri graduated from this program in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and with a Doctor of Medicine. She then completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and her fellowship training in Cardiology at Hackensack University Medical Center/University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ.
Dr. Timmapuri is the managing partner at Bergen Invasive Cardiovascular Consultants which is now part of the Hackensack University Medical Center Cardiovascular Partners. She has been a full-time attending physician on the medical staff of HackensackUMC since 1997. Since 2014, she is the first HackensackUMC Chief Quality Informatics Officer. As the CQIO at HUMC, she has tackled difficult issues related to health informatics such as EPIC software workflows that directly affect physicians, the development of Problem Oriented Charting and numerous other clinical quality improvement initiatives. As an educator, she continues to voluntarily participate in the on-going education of medical students, residents and fellows at HackensackUMC and UMDNJ. She also teaches rotating NP students and MA students from nearby schools through her private practice.
Dr. Timmapuri has participated in international in-patient and out-patient clinical trials and remains committed to the advancement of medical knowledge through clinical research.
Dr. Timmapuri is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Life is Great Global Foundation, Inc., a designated 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing medical and non-medical volunteers to underserved populations around the world. Along with her husband, Dr. Ernani Sadural, she was named “Humanitarian of the Year 2012” by The Waves of Health nonprofit organization.
Dr. Timmapuri has worked as a consultant on the clinical content of DocAssistantTM, a commercially sold Electronic Health Record and is a member of the Board of Directors of ITON, LLC, a software development company. She has also worked as the lead physician consultant at Samsung’s SDS America Division.
Dr. Timmapuri is happily married to her husband of more than twenty years, and enjoys her precious time with her fourteen-year-old daughter, Amina. Although she loves music, reading and photography, her passion lies with on-going international charitable medical mission work as well as the clinically relevant and practitioner-friendly use of IT in the delivery of high-quality patient centered medical care.
Surya Kuchimanchi has masters in engineering. As lead designer at PACE, He specialized in Robotics and developed algorithms for five Axes interpolation for wire cut EDM. He served with GE for over 14 years specializing in shop floor automation. During this period, he successfully managed global projects and envisioned the State of the Art GE FANUC Robotics plant in Bangalore India. As Director Bartronic, built the business around auto ID technologies and gained leadership in manufacturing sector.
Surya Kuchimanchi is a successful entrepreneur, his first company IVY Infotech was started in 1997, which was later merged with TCG Software Inc, a CMM level 5 development center with 700 + team members. Surya Kuchimanchi as Vice president / partner at TCG doubled the revenues through the verticals he lead in manufacturing and healthcare.
Entrepreneur bug hit him once again and he started ITON LLC with vision to provide support services through product sales. His skill in managing a cost effective offsite onside model helped in architecting and bringing to market Medics DocAssistant and eleven specialties. He is currently Partner Vice President at Advanced Data systems. He is hands on and works closely with 170 + strong product focused team as CEO of ITON LLC.
He continues to innovate with Passion; his recent success was with ROCHE in running clinical trial sites through data centric approach with EMR as the source document. He is currently building a product based on the successful benchmark results of the pilot.
He is the founding member and CIO of LIG Global foundation inc., a designated 501 (C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing medical and non medical volunteers to undeserved population around the world. He is passionate of this responsibility and derives immense satisfaction in working towards the common goal of the founding members.
Surya Kuchimanchi lives in NJ with his loving wife Jaya, happily married for 21 years with son Nikki and daughter Darshini. Surya enjoys going out with Family and winning a ping pong match with his friends.
Yasmin Lopez is the Director of Operations in the Dominican Republic. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has lived in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area most of her life.
After earning her Bachelor of Biology degree from Hunter College, she built a career in the fine jewelry industry in New York City. Along the way she discovered a passion for studying the Martial Arts earning the rank of 4th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She is now the owner and Master Instructor of Dragon Kim’s Karate in Livingston, New Jersey. She is happily married to Richard Lopez, Chief Logistics Officer of Life is Great Global Foundation. Together they have two daughters, Candice and Rachel.
Yasmin was introduced to Life is Great Global Foundation by two of her students, Dr. Ernani Sadural and Dr. Sarah Timmapuri. Having developed novel ways of helping children with special needs overcome physical and mental disabilities thru martial arts, she was recruited to the Dominican Republic where LIG was working. There in the Dominican Republic, is a school for over 100 special needs children many of whom have never had seen a pediatrician. Yasmin quickly became the LIG champion for this school and was the driving force behind our efforts to provide healthcare to these children while assisting the dedicated but resource poor teachers of the school. Because of her incredible organizational skills, ability to innovate and most importantly her immense heart of gold, she was named the Director of Operations in the Dominican Republic in 2012.
YvetaleLauture-Jerome is a registered nurse for over 30 years. She is currently working at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center as the Director of Women’s Services.
Yvetale migrated to the United States with her parents and siblings in 1972 from Haiti.
Yvetale received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from City College of New York in 1981 and received her Master of Administrative Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2006.
She began her involvement with LIG Global in 2010 after the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti. Based on the positive experience of helping her country, she continued her involvement with LIG by participating in several mission trips. In 2013 she traveled to the Philippines, Dominican Republic and once again Haiti. In June of 2014, Yvetale participated in a mission trip to Vikarabad, India where she was able to train the local nursing staff in safety and quality initiatives.
On her last mission trip to Haiti in 2013, Yvetale was given the honor of being named the Director of Operations to Haiti. She believes that one should always give back to those less fortunate. She is extremely proud to give back to her home country and people.
Yvetale currently lives in New Jersey. She is happily married to her husband of 30 years, Herve and is the proud parent of her two children, Christelle and Jonathan. In her spare time, Yvetale is an avid reader, dancer and chef extraordinaire!
